We
are now offering free image hosting for those members
who do not have websites of their own. Please, if you have
your own website, continue to host your images there. We would
like to reserve our bandwidth and hosting space for those
who do not have any other means of posting an image in our
galleries. |
Thank
you!
|
1) The
first step is to open the image hosting window. Click on the Image
Hosting link at the top of the forum/gallery page. You
will be presented with the Upload Utility page. Enter your
name and email address in the proper fields. Please
use the same user name and email address you used to register
in our forums and galleries. Next, click on the Browse
button...

2)
A file browser will open. Navigate to the image file you wish
to upload. (You can only upload .jpg files
of 150 KB or less. No other file types will be allowed.)
Highlight the image file you wish to upload and click the Open
button...

3)
You will be returned to the Upload Utility page. The path
to the image file you have chosen will appear in File to Upload.
Click on the Submit button.

4)
Allow some time for the file to upload. Do
not click the Submit button more than once!!
When the file has successfully uploaded
to our servers you will receive the Success! screen.
Above your image you will see the file name of the image and the
size of the image.

5)
Below your image you will see the URL of the image file on our
server. Simply highlight the URL and right click to copy the URL.

6)
Open a new topic in the gallery of your choice. Decide where to
put the link to the image in the message. In this example I will
place the image shortly after the text in the message window.
(Be sure not to copy any other text until
after the URL is pasted in the message window!!)

7)
Right click in the message window where you want the image to
appear and click on Paste in the drop-down menu.

8)
The URL of the image file will appear in the new meassage window.
Highlight the URL and click on the IMG button above the
message window. This will add the UBB ""
tags around the URL of the image...

9)
Finish
your message and click on the Preview button...

Voila!
Your image will appear with your message. If all is well, click
the Submit button at the bottom of the page. Your image
is posted! :-)
