Nice photos. I've photographed ravens at Bryce Canyon too, and was able to get just as close. These birds are amazing, and usually very difficult to get close to.
A kid was nearly able to touch them while moving slowly foreward.

Double emergence
I've been in Sweden this weekend with two other fellow photographers. Waking up early morning three days in a row to take photographs of emerging dragonflies and damselflies, is not that bad when the pond is two minutes walk from your bed. I managed to get a series of photos of several dragonflies e...

Male fly manners
This pair of hover flies was doing the naughty stuff, and while I photographed, the male jump forward and stepped on the females eyes. Rude in my opinion, guess fly manners differ somewhat from human's. http://www.photomacrography1.net/images/100905_010_640.jpg 10th of September '05, Kolding, Denmar...

merry xmas and happy new year too Rey.
This is a lovely picture, I like the way this is exposed/processed, so that the butterfly is not very bright.
Details as always in your pictures, even in these small 600 pixel versions. The framing/crop could have left a bit more space around the insect.

Another snake, great I like your pictures of these animals. I can just imagine how good it would be if the snakes were facing each other. Still with the nose of the normal coloured snake, sneaking out of focus, it still is a very lovely picture. I would love to have a photo-oppertunity like yours ne...
