You know Gerd, I have never heard of "bubble hairs." As a matter of fact I have not heard of Chenopodium album either but now I have. An unusual and interesting shot Gerd, nice.

Good eye Wim If that is a flagellum, the possiblity of it being a Mastigamoeba is good. Although I do not notice any bacteria attached to the pseudopodia, they do not necessarily have to be present, nor does a uriod.

Looking at the overall shot of the amoeba and comparing it to what I find in Jahns, it somewhat resembles some of the organisms in the Family Flabellulidae (page 157 Jahns Second Edition, Jahn Bovee Jahn). Nice photo Nikola I have a field across from the house that is full of Queen Anns Lace but all of them have white flowers. I have seen, rarely, those with the pink flowers like you have here.
