Wow, wish I had this one, it's beautiful, especially the motion in the wings...

You carry on nitpicking Sue, I'll carry on looking at it.

Great photo Paul. Unfortunately I see this kind of thing all too often. The bloke in the middle is being woman-handled by the girlfriend and the wife. The mark on the head is from the rolling-pin when the wife found out and the broken jaw is from the fist of the girlfriend when she found out. :shock...

I'm keeping my eye on you lot...

http://www.photomacrography1.net/images/sulphur1.jpg Sulphur I think. Just because I am not posting or commenting, doesn't mean to say I am not looking and enjoying. An old one that appeared on another site but I thought it worth another look. I haven't had much time to go out lately. Fuji,...

I do like this one Edwin. I have seen these before and when I saw this one it brought back very fond memories of my childhood down in the woods. I can't remember the red caps on them though. Many thanks. :D

Hello Mike. Nice that you have found the place.

Great photo. I definitely would not like to meet him given the same size.

Welcome aboard.

Wow, that's a pretty coloured one Sue. Out here they are just dull brown.
Yep, going to have to get organised too. Gonna try out a few image managers. My files are just getting to big to continue drilling down folders within folders.

Beautiful photo.

Gorgeous shot Mark. That focus is dead on the eyes/bubble. I keep on meaning to have a go at the two shot combine that you have perfected so well.

Hehehe. Was he saying thanks because he had just spotted you Danny? Perhaps he was looking for a modeling fee. Maybe they've sussed us at last.

Thats another close one Charles. Any closer and you'll have to start powdering their faces to minimise the shine.

Is that the dew he has in his mouth? That's something special, getting an image within the dew at that magnification!

Yep. Agree with Sue on this one Ken. Nice colours and I like the fact that you have caught the iridescence of the wings.

Nice Ken.
They do look like mouse ears. I like the soft lighting you managed to get on them as well. asking a bit much I know, but I would have liked to have seen the little ones in the front with a bit more lighting on them as well mate. Next time take a torch with you.

Green Capsid - Selective depth

Image

Fuji, 28mm reversed. F4, 1/60

Didn't intentionally go for shallow DoF. Had to open the lens just to be able to see and focus on his eye.
