LOL, not my fault I tell ya :D . I just found it interesting that Nikon would come out with a macro lens with IS before Canon did. I've mentioned it for years and often wondered why Canon didn't. Makes great sense to me and its also the reason I would look very carefully at the Minolta 7D and 5D DSL...

Got too much time on your hands :-))

What appeals most on this new camera is, spot metering. Can't live without it. Now, whats really new is that Nikon 105mm macro lens with VR. Its about time somebody did it :D , I actually thought Canon would be the first to do that with a macro lens and IS, but nope, Nikon. Good on ya Nikon  :w...

Well this is getting darned interesting for sure Rik. Quite a few of Charlie's shots I have in a guest gallery and they are superb for sure  , something to strive for but probably not with camera lenses and no stacking. Charles Chein and Mark Plonsky would come close in DSLR terms but not those...

Pushing the boundaries. Full frame shot with the FZ10 set @ F/8, an added 35mm set @ F/16. The zoom on the FZ10 set @ 1260mm (35mm terms and digital zoom). Small sensor though for sure. The head and eye of an aphid and the diffraction went completely haywire. Too much glass and combined F/stops coul...

Its something I'm now getting used to Mike. Even when shooting with 35mm, I ended up generally shooting stopped right down, F/22 - F/32 was normal for me. I haven't changed and it still shows up in my shots with the CD-1000 and the FZ10. Its not as larger problem as I get with CA. Obviously caused b...
