Welcome to the forums Paul glad you decided to give us a try. A very excellent first post. :D I am sure you will enjoy being a part of the community. We have some of the finest Macro and Micro shooters to be found on the web and they are more than willing to help out new comers to macro or microphotography. :D

Where exactly did you take this photograph of the frog. The leaves or the grass have a reddish edge to them, is this a wetlands shot? :D

Really like the composition just fine in this shot, and the depth really works well.
The details, the lighting, all looks nice although I do wish that there was less of a shadow on the facial area of the frog, .......... but that's only a minor thing.

Still, ............... nice shot! I sure like it!! :)

Well not in the werlands I have not been able to find a good spot for night macro being that is what i've very interested in. This guy was take in my yard they were mating about 3 months ago and at night there would be up to five of them in a couple trees and bushes so just playing around I was able to get a few shot of them at night.

Nice image Paul and welcome aboard. I like the composition, but a bit dark for me, but that could just be the environment he was in at the time.

This is really an interesting shot. Not only the frog, but the background leaves and the dark setting, makes this picture a pleasure to watch.
