Hey folks,
I made a pair of earring for my girlfriend. Thought I'd make a nice shot of it, since I had been boring myself to death at home waiting for school to call.
Hope you like it, it is only my second attempt in a "studio" set-up*
Earings are made from a pure silver byzantine boxchain and a couple of hematite balls with a diameter of 4 mm.
All the best,
Tom B

Little gift for my girl

Jewelry photography is hard, this is a good start. I'd prefer to see the dark hematite against a background that wasn't black, though.

How sweet Tom, I am sure she is going to love them. I work in a bead store (we also sell science & nature stuff..rocks and minerals, fossils, crystals) and My wife loves when I make her stuff. Hematite is a very popular stone in the bead trade.
