Water Bear Claws

Post by micron »

Here is a picture of a water bear making its way across the underside of the cover glass. One can see the tiny claws the animal uses to hold on to material while feeding.

Hello Ron,

Great shot of one of the truly 'cute' critters! Excellent display of the bear claws.

All the best,
Mike

Hello Ron,

inspired by your excellent shot of the bottom of a water bear, I think it would be interesting to have a look at the top of it, too. Here it is:

Hi Ralf,

Nice top shot - by the looks of it this particular bear is well fed.

Great shot Ron :D I haven't seen a water bear in a long while. Kind of like watching Stylonychia crawl across your coverslip. :D
