Zeiss Standard GFL Microscope
Stack of 17 images, Helicon
Objective: Plan 1.6/0.03 - 5/0.1
Ocular: Watson x8 Compensating
"Krebs" light diffuser (old deodorant bottle top, similar to diffuser used by Charlie)
Camera: Canon Powershot S50
ISO 100, 1/6 sec, F4.9

Astilbes has feathery pyramidal plumes composed of lots of tiny flowers. My wife is growing them in the garden. This is the tip of one of those plumes.
