My Scope arrived

Danny, Michael, and I (Tom) couldn't be happier and more impressed with our members and friends! It would be wonderful if we all got to know each other better. Here's a forum to post images and short autobiographies of ourselves as well as any other info you would like to post about yourself. We are looking forward to meeting you all!

Yes, it is new. I went for the basic new one and will build it up as I can. First I have to learn how to use it with my camera from the eyepiece. My camera does not see what I see, so we are having issues

Maybe you don't know this:

Microscopy from the very beginning
(from Zeiss' website)

It's a basic tutorial, but very nicely illustrated and it uses a scope like yours!

This looks like an excellent instrument. You should have lots of fun with it. You now have a magical journey of discovery.

We await the pictures!

Hi Sue, I thought I might point you toward another great source of information. If you to http://www.microscopy-uk.org.uk/mag/indexmag.html you will find a series of on-line magazines to with microscopy - I print these out and read them at my leisure, they also make a good reference library.

Looks like a serious piece of equipment! Does the camera attach on the side we can't see? (I know NUTHINK on photomicroscopy, assuming that's a word).

Wow Sue,

You ought to have a load of fun with that. I see the 10x18 ocular. That oughtta work very well for photography with many digicams--just hold em and shoot.

Have fun, but a lot of your spare time has just been eliminated :)

Well, I could not afford the photo tube yet, so I have to take images using the eyepiece.
