Scarlet Fever

Post by gunn »

hi

just wanted to show you guys this really bright red flower which my wife tends to every evening! taken on a G6 in very bright sunlight. 1/1000, iso 100 and f6.3. (didn't dare go near the max aperture of f8 for fear of diffraction.) no post colour tweaking etc except cropping and reduction.

warmest regards

Almost like some sort of pitcher plant but macro maybe misleading. Very unusual view which seems to work and makes it symmetrical the way it folds out at the top gunn. The red just pops, very nice.

All the best gunn, nice work again. :D

Danny.
