Cymbella... again!

Post by Ken Ramos »

Why waste an extra shot, I thought these made a nice group. So I decided to place them up for your viewing. I made about 12 images of Cymbella today and no I am not going to flood the forum with them. This one and the other two in the previous post Cymbella spp. are among my favorites. :D

Image
Sony DSC-P200 @ 7mgp (Program)
Orion SteadyPix digital adapter
1/20 sec. @ F/2.8 ISO 100 EV +0.7
Zeiss Axiostar 40X/0.65 A-Plan (Zeiss)
Halogen illumination w/blue and white diffusers
Condenser @ approx. 1/3 of full aperature, Kholer iris adjusted accordingly for an even field contrast.
