Abstract of alga, polarized

Post by Charles Krebs »

This was also taken with crossed polarizers. If I don't cross them to extinction I get some background color. Don't really know why the blue is so intense here... I may have had the color balance on the digital camera set wrong. But I like the way it turned out!

An unusual image there Charlie. Color balance may have been the culprit in this having such a blue background, I have a time or two, probably more, had the color balance on the camera set to something else and have gotten some really strange backgrounds. A very nice and colorful image Charlie. :D
