Phyllium couple!!!!

Post by nephiliim »

Ok I know that this is the 4th image I posted.. but I am over excited.

When I just looked at my terrarium, I saw that one of my males just shed his skin in the last couple of hours. Now these guys get right to buisnis if you know what I mean, barely reached adulthood and allready coupling up and mating.

woohooo.. young ones coming up in 2 weeks if the description is correct.

Image

All the best, and sorry about the 4th pic.. but I am sooo happy!!!

Should we now call you "Don" Tom, since you're going to be a "Godfather?" As long as you don't have any of the staff "whacked," I guess we can over look this infraction, this time.

A neat image Tom, post the kids now when they arrive. :D

Yes Tom, we want the whole life cycle in photos. We now have the mating. Do they have an egg case like Praying Mantises?

The egg casings are smooth in the beginning, but when they dry up, little hairs start to rise. According to some people this is to make sure they stick to the surface they fall on, other say it is to ware of predators...

Thank you for the comments folks,

All the best,
