Ladies and Gentlemen, The King....

I've just returned from traveling, when I had the opportunity to snag this captive shot. I talked to one of the handlers of another King Cobra recently, who assured me that they are remarkably intelligent for snakes, even able to recognize different people. This one seemed pretty smart, and put on a display for me. In a perfect world, I'd have caught him with his tongue out, but I still like this!

A nice clean shot Mike, very sharp. The cobras eyes seem to look a bit forward or straight ahead, more than other snakes. Beautiful shot Mike. :D
