The eggs hatched!

This afternoon I looked into the jar where I had placed the egg cluster I posted last week....

... and I noticed they had just about all hatched out. They appear to be a species of shield bug. They had all crawled to the edge of the egg cluster and huddled together.

The first one looks like a bunch of open pill bottles. Amazing to see that those little bugs came out of them. Really sharp images there Charlie

Well Doug... they will now have to fend for themselves in the great outdoors that is my backyard!
