Bombay Hook, DE

Post by S. Alden »

My favorite place is Bombay Hook, De located just north of Dover, DE. This is a National Wildlife Refuge and a great place for avian photography, but also offers a variety of subjects.

From birds to turtles to dragons, I even seen a snake in the tree.

The rains here of late, and the flooding did bring problems to Bombay Hook. Here is a photo of the fish that was stranded on the banks once the water receded.

That too looks like a great place Sue. :D High waters are something we all have to deal with I guess. Francis and Ivan really ruined a lot of my favorite places. Are those carp in your last image? :)
