Azure Butterfly (wild Specimen)

Post by Beetleman »

I know I have been submitting photos of captive butterflies (I feel like I`m cheating) so here is a wild specimen...Genus Celastrina - Azures. As you can see from the following link, it would be hard to make a species call on this one ( I could only guess). A Summer Azures :?: http://bugguide.net/node/view/223/bgimage?from=24

Don't know what it could be Doug, maybe a Late Spring? Beautiful shot of the butterfly though. :D

Not Asparagus Nikola. Here is a small pic of the flower. The flowers open up along the stem...Not sure of the ID. :)
