What great colors, textures, and patterns! A sort of Darth Vader effect, too.
Any idea what family of beetle?
This one is really eye-catching, a very nice image. |

Hi y'all!
Charlie's wonderful images are displayed on both of the front covers of www.photomacrography.net and www.amateurmicroscopy.net for the month of August. Way to go, Charlie!

The beetle is fantastic. I thought it was the back of darth vader, in dress up![and just saw someone else said that too! ]
Amazing photo, Charlie.
I really dislike some of those beetles that love to chomp right in the middle of my roses, but this year I'll have to try some photos. Of course they might be a distant cousin, but not pretty for sure! _________________ Linda
