I guess it goes to show that we humans aren't the only ones who prey on our own kind. Quite an unusaul shot there Rick and a good job of it too being that it is night, hand held and with a flashlight. :D Thanks very much Ken, I'm beginning to enjoy shooting at night, it has its own appeal. :D :D :D

Night Macro, Hand-Held

I had no idea Crab Spiders were so predatory. This one was taken Hand-Held, spotted by flashlight, Manual Focus, Manual settings, ISO of 400, 1/125, f22. with my 5D and a Sigma 150 Macro lens with a 20mm Ext.
