Hi Charlie, The whole Quinault system is one of my favorite places too. Col. Bob wilderness especially. I've gotten lots of good diatoms and similar specimens out of Lake Quinault too...

At least that's what I think they are, I'm not a taxonomist. This pair was from the local beaver pond. Conditions: 25X /0.8 phase for the main picture.
