Feather Duster
Pictured is a marine "feather duster" worm. It probably belongs to the genus Sabella . It lives in a flexible tube built with mucus and sand, that projects a couple of inches above the sand. Great picture, Ken! Very sharp, nice capture of these fast swimmers. It could be Oxytricha, I agree. It should have a flexible body, though, Stylonychia is more rigid.
