I have bunches of these growing in my yard in tuffts. They seem to favor the shade of the pines, since that is where they mostly occur. I have never found them any place else in the yard. Some good photos there Steve. :D

Metallic beetles can be sometime finicky for me to shot but you seem to get along with them just fine Nikola. A very nice capture. :D

Yes indeed, as Doug mentioned, some very striking colors. Looks a bit grainy but that could be lens picking up the minute details of the flowers themselves. Nice photographs. :D
