everybody knows it : this little jumping ciliate : halteria spec.
It's always a challenge to take some good shots of them.... :D

Beautifully captured, Gerd! A comprehensive shot collection of this little challenging jumper... Why is it yellow, because of DIC used?

Yes, a little colour artifact is caused by DIC, the other part
of artifact is caused by picture manipulation in Photoshop.
In my sample, the Halterias already had a light green-yellow colour.

Gosh these are frustrating to photograph! And when they start to settle down (die :shock: ) they don't look the same.
Nice job with a tricky subject Gerd! Super detail.
