(I think that it's a wasp)
Embedded in Madagascar copal (resin related to amber) and could be up to about 65,000 years old. Field of view is 4 mm.

Absolutely Charles. This particular piece also has three beetles embedded in it too. Maybe the wasp was after the beetles and got itself trapped.Charles Krebs wrote:Steve...
