End of the road (leaf!)

Post by Charles Krebs »

I followed this little critter around tonight until it got too dark to focus. It would crawl to the end of a leaf and then reach out looking for another. This time there was nothing there.

Pretty neat shot there Charlie. Simple, clean back ground. Sharp as a tack. Seems to me I recall photographing one of these little guys through the Meiji, didn't look as nice as this though. Very nice work as usual Charlie. :D

He does look like a little baby reaching out for Uncle Charles. I think the curley leaf adds a lot to the picture IMO, sort of contrasts with the horizontal caterpillar.

You know looking back at this, the little fellow reminds me of a PEZ dispenser. I guess they, the dispensers, are still around. :-k
