weevil?

Post by paul »

I found this highly metallic creature walking up one of the windows. The shot was taken from the outside, the flash producing the twofold reflection. Obviously, this fellow had a brush with cobwebs on his journey.

Well Paul, cobwebs or not, that is a very unusual beetle and a great shot on the glass :D . Beetle shots are getting pretty regular around here, usually its big fat hairy, creepy, crawly, spiders.

I'm glad the spiders didn't get this guy! Interesting "environment" created by the reflection in the glass!

Very nice shot and a interesting beetle. It does look like some kind of Snout Beetle (Weevil). Also, your windows are much cleaner than mine.
