Insect CSI

Post by Beetleman »

Lets do a little Crime Scene Investigation. Take this scene on a leaf in my garden. I first thought it was bird poop. I proceded to take some crime scene photos to bring back to the lab. Thats when I noticed that it looked like it had eggs coming out of one end and some black liquid around the one end. The other end was fuzzy like a moth or butterfly. You can see some fuzz on the leaf (arrow) and on the inset showing the other side of the grissly scene. (almost like a skid mark). I`m guessing that something like a Moth has been murdered and consumed (in mid flight) and this abdomen section landed on the leaf  What do you think :?: (I think I watch to much TV  )
