Two Beetles Today

Post by Beetleman »

I have two beetle pictures for today. First one is a Leaf Chafer - Anomala orientalis and the second one is another shot of the Golden Tortoise Beetle showing some damage to the leaf and his droppings. He must be very happy because he is very golden colored. :D

And why not? Your subjects have no clothes!

Beetleman, great capture especially on the antenna of the first one.

Living up to your name there Beetleman. :D Some very nice shots here. Those Japanese Beetles are eating up every leaf around here it seem but they also seem to be selective in what leaves they eat. As for those Tortise Beetles, I see them every so often but have never got as good a shot of them as what you have. Nice work Doug! :D
