You're right Rik. The eyepiece in the trinoc and on the binocular head are all long eye relief eyepieces. Makes for comfortable observation for extended periods of time. One thing to note however, these long relief eyepieces are pricy. For the Zeiss $114.00 ea. However they are standard equipment on the basic Axiostar with one having an adjustable diopter. :D
